ClearFuels has defined a clear path to commercialization. We have formed strong relationships and signed agreements with key strategic partners that validate the strength of our commercial vision. ClearFuels commercial design of a standard 1,000 ton per day BTG platform, including biomass preparation, reformation and gas cleanup is the basis for all ClearFuels biorefineries. The BTG platform is composed of four shop-fabricated 250 ton per day modules that are pretested and skid mounted before shipping which can be used for all ClearFuels facilities regardless of co-location at wood products facilities or sugar mills. The system will process wood products, bagasse, cane trash or combinations of these feedstocks and will be used for all ClearFuels cellulosic ethanol and renewable FT diesel biorefineries. This standardization saves design-engineering, capital and operating costs.
ClearFuels’ EPC contractor, reformer manufacturer, feedstock and offtake partners are industry leaders, who along with ClearFuels, have significant experience in the development of large energy infrastructure projects. ClearFuels is working with its partners to rapidly complete and validate the demonstration facilities while conducting the initial development of the commercial sites in parallel to minimize time to market for commercial-scale production.
